when I bought my 1 gig dual channel kit of Corsair DDR400, the guy at the shop thought I should test it in Sandra to make sure thta it is running in dual channel mode. At the post screen, I get the message "(Dual Channel Mode Enabled)", but

Hi all. This is a followup to my recent post about overclocking a l7vmm3 with a xp athlon cpu. Thank you all for your help. However, I've just realized it's a 5 bit athlon. Does this make any difference? Thanks

Does anyone have any reason why my M7NCD mobo is putting my fsb at 200 when ive got a athlonxp3200? its a 400 fsb board without the 400 fsb option?? i dont get it lol Dalgibbard.

My system was apparently overheating and crashing (although temps shown in probe were ok) I have fixed this problem with new fans and cpu heatsink. However, since that i have been getting an error when i boot that looked like a problem with the pagefile.sys. I have followed advice ...

I believe that pseudo-sync is synchronized thus not asynchronized. However, is pseudo-sync also called 'asynchronous mode'? i've put some evidence that it is called 'asynchronous mode' at the end of the post in 2 chunks each marked <extract>...</extract>

I currently have a Volcano 11 on a Barton 3000, Asus A7N8X mobo, aluminum case with 2x120mm fans. I have reset the heat sink twice with AC5.. as an effort to get temps down .my temps reach the high 50's under a load. (Nothing is over clocked).

Does anyone know, specifically, what the L12 mod actually does? I have a theory that it steps up the voltage to the FSB side of the CPU's L2 cache, to stabilize a default 133MHz FSB for higher frequencies. It seems to suggest that Athlon XPs are running at dual voltages but the ...

Hi, i have 2 modules of KVR266X64C25/512 (512 MB PC2100 cl2.5). I have heard about memory overclocking (changing its timings in BIOS). Do you know if i can overclock my RAM to get better performance, speed? My mobo is Abit BD7II-RAID with P4 1.70 processor.
