Hello - I am planning to shift my OS from pre-loaded vista to XP, as

find the whole Vista thing a bit uncomfortable to work with, as it is
very slow even with 2gb ram.

My hp523n won't boot..don't see anything on screen. I talked with HP
in chat and they suspect moboard is gone bad. I hear one long beep
followed by 2 short beeps with no pause in any of those beeps.

Have just taken delivery of new w2207h monitor & in the excitement cut
the yellow tape, clearly marked " DO NOT CUT " & can do nothing in the
way of turning, swiveling or setting up monitor !!

For the second time since Ive had it, my Pavillion ZD7000 has had a
powerjack malfunction.  The first time happened under warrenty, and HP
replaced the board for free.  The second time was last month, after the
warrenty had expired.  This time HP offered to repair it for 300 bucks

My HP Pavillion desktop has a cd-rw drive and a dvd-rom drive. I'd
like to replace the dvd-rom with a dvd-rw.
The case is different to normal desktop pcs as it has spring loaded
flaps over the front of each drive bay.

I have some serious problems with the wireless function on my HP Pavillion
DV6000 laptop. I have recently bought this laptop with a preinstalled
Windows Vista on it. The Wireless Assistant worked flawlessly under Vista.
Nevertheless I found that Vista worked too slow on my HP ...
