Does anyone know if there's a driver for the HP LaserJet 3100 series for MS

I had my 3100 working fine in win95 and 98, then pretty good with an XP
variant of the NT driver, but I get a message when I try to install it in

My dad said that there was something wrong with the computer- we think
my little brother downloaded a song with a virus attached or
something.  Anyways, he took it upon himself to fix it without talking
to me or a professional first.  I had mentioned to do a system restore

Until a few days ago, HP PrecisionScan Pro 3.06 worked fine with my Scanjet
7400C. All of a sudden, the HP software can no longer access the scanner:
"Sorry, Scanner Could Not Be Initialized"

For some reason..I can only get it to burn on 4x speed...Im using windowsxp
sp2 and Nero 7...It didnt come with any software other than nero 6 oem and
even that one only let me burn at 4x speed...how do i make it burn
faster..its capable of 16x speed..TIA

Just got a new hp/compaq laptop and I'm amazed by the drop in display
brightness when it goes to battery - ie, when you pull the power lead out.
My old Thinkpad used to drop - to, I guess, 60 or 70%, but this one seems to
