I am interested in purchasing a new gateway #GT5412 desktop computer
which comes with a SATA hard drive.
My present computer has IDE drives.   Are there connections on
computers with SATA drives to hook up with an IDE drive so that

Using an Officejet 7310 with Vista. Trying to do automatic double-sided
printing always flips the pages whatever the software controls are set to.
Has anyone come across this - ands found a solution?

My HP cp1160 suddenly and without any warning, will not work. It was working
two hours ago and now, nothing.
The display will NOT LIGHT UP and the whole machine seems to be "dead in the

I've just upgraded from XP to Vista with the upgrade package provided to me
from HP and am having issues with the sound card / hot keys / quick launch
buttons.
Went thru the process as per discs and the quick launch buttons do not work,

1) my LaserJet 5Si often jams when duplexing. The printer reports 13.01.07
and the paper then is in the paper delivery assembly. It seems to happen
less often (or not at all) when the left-bin output is chosen. I have to
verify yet that it only happens when I choose top-bin output.

I replaced the failed 30 gig hard drive in the laptop with a new 60 gig one
I got from newegg.  I installed xp home with the dvd that came with the
laptop.  I then installed the drivers that came with the driver dvd.
All ok in device manager except for nic card.  Went to hp web site

HP laptop, won't boot, corrupted system file, etc.
Hitting F2 goes to bios, but the password screen launches.
The owner does not recall setting a password and the

After installing an older printer (HP Laserjet 2420d) to a new computer
(Dell XPS 410),when I start my computer an Explorer window of the HP
software directory in the Program Files directory is displayed on
the Desktop. How can I eliminate this window? I Use Windows XP SP2. I

Every now and then I keep losing my wireless connection with the
Printer. I can browse the Net with no problems with this happens. I

Installed this and whenever I try to run either HP Director or the HP
Digital Imaging Monitor it tries to install something called TrayApp.
It then asks me to point to the trayapp.msi on the Cd but then tells
me this is not a valid installation file.

It looks like the FL inverter has failed on our nx9105 laptop display (well
out of warranty I'm afraid).
Does anyone have a guide price for getting it repaired ?
