I just upgraded my psu from 340 watt to 500 watt, trouble is now whenever its turned on there's a hideous high pitched whine coming from it. isolated all my fans and its def the psu. any ideas of the cause? and more importantly a solution!

My old mobo blew so I bought a new ECS board. I moved my Windows XP SATA boot drive over to the new mobo. On the old mobo I had to set the SATA drive to IDE mode in the BIOS to get it to work. The new mobo has no such BIOS setting. Now when I boot

I was listening to the extremetech podcasts and they were quite impressed with the Antec Mini P180 (http://www.antec.com/us/ productDetails.php?ProdID=81800) so i looked at it on the Antec website and it seems almost perfect except... its still a bit large

Everything works fine. My problem is that the keys on the keyboard are starting to 'stick' because of years of dirt. Blowing it out with air does not work. I'd like to take the keyboard case off and 'pop' off the keys. Wash

I just replaced my boot drive with a larger Seagate ATA 320 Gig 16 MB cache on a five year old computer. I used Seagate Tools to copy my old boot drive to my new drive and all went well. I can now boot from the new drive.

I went to boot up my system today and when I pressed the power switch all the fans in the system started up for a couple of seconds then stopped and nothing else happened. So I switched from the battery backup to the wall outlet and tried again and then the fans wouldn't even ...

Why are some mice advertised as "Optical Mouse for Notebooks" I'd like to buy a Logitech V320 cordless optical mouse, but I'd be using it on a 22" LCD screen. Would this make a difference in it's performance?
