Is it worth upgrading a 3500 single core for a 4400 dual core?29 Feb 2008 17:48 GMT15
A few years ago, I built a PC using an ASUS A8N-SLI Premium motherboard and
an AMD Athlon 64 3500 Venice single core CPU.
As this motherboard is an older 939 socket type, I thought about upgrading

Removing Cooler Master thermal paste28 Feb 2008 08:49 GMT6
I recently removed a Cooler Master HSF to return MOBO with dead LAN.
After releasing the clip I twisted on the HSF to break the seal created

that did not diminish regardless of how many times I repeated this

Problem with Norton and AOL?27 Feb 2008 18:35 GMT2
Does anyone know if there is some incompatibility between Norton
antivirus and AOL?   My brother-in-laws PC is on AOL dial-up.  He uses
some recent version of Norton antivirus.   He says he can send email
on AOL, but something prevents him from opening any email. I suggested
