I found 3 Pentium 4 "Bare Bones" generic PCs with Intel MBs, the only parts missing are RAM and Hard Disks. I do not have any 184-pin RAM modules to test the basic functionality of any of these PCs. I wanted to check the POST for more info on the CPU installed. 2 MBs (D845DRGs)

I have a laptop with a built in wireless adapter. It worked fine until 2 days ago. The only thing I can think of that may have caused a problem was that I installed the current versions of Agent and AVG.

I'm looking to built my first PC and I want 4GB of RAM. I was looking online for information on, would it be better to have 4 DIMMS of 1GB or 2 DIMMS of 2GB ? I can't seem to find a definate answer on this. Also, 2GB DIMMS are hard to find too so I might as well go with 4
