I have an issue with my PC.
About 3-4 yrs old, custom built, P4 & ECS mobo - PC3200 memory.
Worked fine for about 3 yrs then the ATI AIW 9000pro died - I put a
new Video card and it was back to normal.  Then the Network card that

Friend got new computers at work.
Was told to either junk or take home old system.
Told him I had a copy of XP Pro, and he had the key on sticker, so I'd
format and reload a fresh copy to get rid of any sensitive data.

I have a Supermicro P4SCT mobo.  It supports RAID.  I also have two
same size SATA drives that I want to convert to RAID0 stripped and
boot from them.  I will be installing XP Pro.
The instructions for the mobo say I have several choices.

I will be building a new budget PC soon.  I have an old Sony Vaio PC
(PCV-210) with a Pentium II CPU.  This PC was purchased in 1999.  I'm
wondering if the power supply were updated if it would be a reasonable
option to keep the case, save $50, and install a quality power supply.

My computer has a late beep then it boots and i can hear my windows
start up sound but my monitor stays on Stand-By. Im using an ATI

CPU Water Cooling is what I want to do on my next build. I cannot seem
to find any easy to understand central location of info for building
with water cooled cpu's.

I keep "My Documents" folder backed up. I back up from C:\Documents
and Settings\Terry.  This gets all of my Windoze XP settings.  I save
it to two different drives on two different machines.
I would like to set up XP to boot from RAID to get twice the speed.

Can anyone recommend an external dvd burner that uses a firewire
connection?
And while we're at it, why do so few burners have firewire as an
option?

I friend of mine wants to replace her Emachine because hers died.
Where is an inexpensive place to buy just the tower?  She doesn't want
