I am building a couple PC's out of some surplus stuff I have. Is there a

DVI/PCI video card for old PC?04 Sep 2007 04:30 GMT7
I bought an LCD monitor for my home PC, and I've read that it's better to
have a video card with DVI output to get crisper text and so forth.
My PCI is pretty old though, a Dell L800r.  It has on-board video; the only
slots for a card are PCI.
XP can't find a drive04 Sep 2007 03:35 GMT11
I just changed my Bios to RAID.  The plan is to format 2 identical
drives for RAID and boot from them.  The Post screen reports a
stripped raid drive.  It shows its size as roughly double each drive.
When I load XP from CD, it says it can't find any drives.

Here is an update to a problem I was having in the past.
I had a working computer with 3 IDE drives installed on a KT7A RAID
mobo.  I was not using the IDE RAID ports for any of the drives.
I bought a new 500G SATA drive.  I installed an old SATA RAID card to
Mobo and video card capatibility question04 Sep 2007 01:13 GMT2
I've just completed my first pc build and have run into one error.

operational problems. I'm able to run anything I want so far. I can even
How much can I rev up my mobo/proc?04 Sep 2007 00:20 GMT3
I built a new system with Asrock AM2NF3 mobo, Radeon (AGP)  800 video,
and Athlon 64 X2 dual core 600+.   All is still set at default, most
stable settings in BIOS. CLock speed is 3 GHZ.  IT has the stock
HS/fan, which for this proc, is pretty hefty.
