As my BIOS allows HDD boot order I thought I would try to dual-boot Vista & XP. Vista is on a SATA, XP is on an ATA. It will not boot to XP on the ATA. Would it dual boot if I got another SATA or do the 2 OS's have to be on the same HDD in separate partitions?

I got my resolution AS high as possible right now. I read/heard the higher the resolution, you get a drop in performance? 1280 X 1024 right now, what's a good one for performance? Or does it matter????????

I'm using CyberLink PowerCinema version 5 along with Pinnacle HD PCTV Pro Stick. I can view TV programs with closed captions, but closed-captions don't show up on the recorded video. Does anyone how to capture video along with closed captions with this

I've posted to the Asus group, but as there is little traffic there, I might not get a response. ASUS m2v has a power connector with 12 pairs of receptors, as I guess most of the newer boards do. After 2 or three weeks, computer failed to start.

wow ,sorry to say it sounds like your cpu went bad,i have had cpu problems recently and it sounds almost exactly what i went through before i found out it was the cpu. i am not for sure betting on it but it sounds like it. hope it aint ,but who knows. take care...
