I have a couple of questions about my Gigabyte GA-965P-DS4

my brother's power supply (300W) went on his desktop.
We bought a new dynex 350W power supply, installed it, carefully
checked connections, turned on and power stayed on for couple of
seconds then stopped.  Reseated all connections, tried again, no luck.

crap on it after 4 yrs, we re-loaded XP, problem still there. Not heat
related, it's cool in there, cleaned it all out. After a while, we

I am working on a computer with an Asus K8S-LA board w/ SIS 760
graphics and Windows XP SP2. During a Norton IS 2005 virus scan or a
Windows Defender scan the computer always spontaneously restarts
itself in the middle before the scan is complete.

Need cheap PCIe video card...24 Mar 2007 14:33 GMT2
I'm trying to find a source for a single inexpensive PCIe video card for use
in a low volume file server that doesn't have on-board video. I potentially
could use PCI but most of the inexpensive cards I see on Newegg and
elsewhere are about the same price for both PCIe and PCI ...

My computer is spontaneously rebooting!24 Mar 2007 02:44 GMT8
Over the last few days, my Compaq has become increasingly unstable, and
now reboots occasionally in the middle of things.  It can be anything - in
the middle of AVG Antivirus 7.5 doing a virus scan, or my kids watching a
DVD.
Ethernet Printer Server Question24 Mar 2007 00:20 GMT15
Does anyone have a printer server, connected to a LAN through a
router, that works, well.
I've checked several on the internet, D-Link, Linksys, and IO Gear,
but reviews indicate that most of them don't work very well.
Dual video MoBos and cards23 Mar 2007 23:46 GMT2
Been looking at µATX and graphics cards recently and yesterday found
something that made me wonder about boards with D-SUB and DVI outputs.
I'd always assumed that it was possible to run 2 monitors from such boards,
then found a board where a spec. mentioned nVidia's nView allowing ...

I've got a system that has been running unstable lately.  It was based on a
roughly 7 year old ECS K7VZA board, with Duron 1.3 CPU.  I used the ultimate
Boot CD to run some tests.
Memory kept failing.  I ran several other memory tests.  That failed too.
