I work as a volunteer at this studentcafé/-bar in norway, and the computer in our office makes more noise than the 50 or so kids playing football (its a really, really large footballfield) outside the house. I opened the cabinet, and managed to locate the sinner: the cpu-fan.

I have an LCD monitor and an "older" computer. I have an adapter on my computer to go from video out to VGA(?) out. When I get my new computer with a new video card, should I go from the Digital out to the Digital input on the monitor, or does it make a difference?

I have an odd (to me) problem. But I'm sure it has a "change this setting" solution. I added a new WD Caviar 160GB HD (ATA-100) to my computer. I partitioned it into 40GB NTFS and 120GB reiserfs. This drive is set as
