Well, I've decided it's time to get rid of my old system and finally
build a new one. (well..truthfully, I have come across a rare and
golden opportunity to spend some extra money without my wife having any
right to complain about it.)

Good work on the new driver.  Just a few comments:
-- Taskbar icons.  Our driver only installs 3 of them.  Shouldn't
there be more?  Our hardware is unique and exciting, and it should be
prominent on the desktop!

I was working on some pages for my Website.
I finished and I copied and pasted one file to another directory. Then
I renamed the file and moved in back to the orginial directory so I

I just bought a new AMD 3000+ Chip(Venice) and am thinking that it
needs to be tweaked  I'm not into overclocking, but when I look at the
properties in windows it says it's 1.81 gHz.  So, what do I need to
adjust to get that number higher?  CPU Frequency(set at 200 now)?  CPU

My system above with the orig w98 os would not come up, even with the
recovery cd's. I had originally planned to install W2k pro in the
future, but that got sped up yesterday. I did NOT format the drive

I have just built a state of the art system but it keeps crashing.
According to the eventlog viewer the reason is "SideBySide" When I look this
up on the Microsoft website it gives me a completely incomprehensible
answer.

I'm using a Socket A motherboard with a top FSB of 266.  My CPU was
running hot (112 F) for a few days and I got nervous about damaging it.  
What's in there now is an Athlon 1ghz.  So I start thinking maybe I
should have an extra CPU on hand in case the old one burns out or ...

I have bought a new Seagate SATA drive as my system was very slow due
to hard drive problem. However, I want to continue using the older hard
drive as a additional storage. I installed windows on the SATA drive
and both are connected as masters. But the startup is still slow as it

hey all..
I installed a SIIG 4 port USB bay hub in the pc's 3.5 internal device bay.
problem.  the hub is not very well secured in the bay.  it slides back
inside the pc if I push in a usb connector in.
