        My brother unfortunately has only a phone line option for connecting to the internet.  I am waaaaay out of the loop when it
comes to phone connections and was wondering if there is a faster way to connect than using the old school 56Kbs. modems.....

This is my first time posting, so I apologize ahead of time for any
breach in netiquette.
Can anyone please help me find out what this component is? It shorted

Is a cpu fan just a cpu fan or is there something specific I need to
look for?  I'm buying a new fan for my mom's computer but I've never
bought one before.  Are they all just kind of generic with the same
connectors, etc.?

I have a Brother HL5040 printer installed on an XP machine and shared
out.  I have another machine trying to use that shared printer, but it
cannot print to it.  When I hit print, I do not get an error message.
The job just sits in the printer's queue but it never starts the job.
