I am wanting to build a 64 bit AMD based system. I want to stay below $700.00 if possible. I need to buy a case, motherboard, cpu with heatsink/fan, video card, RAM, and a hard drive. I would also like to have some, if all, of the following in the system.

Well I've managed to use the delpart.exe file and erase all partitions on the HD. I've also managed to run fdisk and format the drive. Now on restart I get the A: prompt but cannot figure out what to do next. I put in the 98se disk and nothing..... ron

I've built a computer as a favor for someone and everything is working beautifully. The problem is that I purchased the motherboard off of EBay and there was no faceplate included. It is an Asus 8KN-E Deluxe in an Antec case.

I have an eMachines T-6000. I purchased some tunes from Wal-Marts download site. The $.88 per tune type. When I try to record them to CD-R or CD-RW, it tells me that there is no CD in the drive.

My linsys router burned out and I swithed to a 4 port Belkin. I can connect to the internt but I can't get into my Schwab account and I can't get to this computer through laplink. any ideas on what to do?

I think my machine is burning through HDs too fast. I just replaced a HD about a year ago, and already I'm finding a bad sector and I think I heard that tell tale loud clicking sound this morning. I think I'll replace the drive before it dies this time but I'm wondering what ...

I have a home-built machine running XP-Home SP2 and based, hardware-wise, around an ASROCK P4V88+ motherboard that supports Wake-on-LAN. Anyone have any experience with WOL and what I might need to do to get this enabled and working? Many thanks

I've been trying to get win98 loaded on my bro's pc. This is where I'm at so far...After having trouble using a bootdisk and getting errors, I just hooked his HDD up to my PC running winxp. I formatted his HDD in FAT32. Not sure what to do now. How do I go about getting win98 ...
