I am building a computer right now that I am taking to my nephew tomorow in
Tennessee (At least I will be if I can get it cranking). Here are the stats.

I need help with my computer crashing.
I've an AMD Athalon XP w/504MB RAM running Win98 Second Edition.
The computer often crashes (no mouse response, no cntrl-alt-del) after
startup finished.  Even pressing the reset button sometimes does not

I have a pc that crashed and am trying to reinstall Windows XP Pro.  It is a
1.3 Duron in an MSI mobo with 256mb of ram.  When trying to reinstall the os
it is like slow motion.  The partitioning and formatting are ok but from

Purchasing all my components.  Have a motherboard that required DDR2 533.
Listed the memory modules and the only real difference I see in specs is
that they show different CAS Latency 3,4 or 5.  Which is better (smile!)....

I've got maybe 10 of these transformers that have the plug built into them.
They take up two slots or more on a standard power strip.  I've got a bad
thing going here, daisy chaining one power strip to another.  A real mess.
any recommendations for a power "strip" that would take ...
