Is it possible to get a PCI multi-io card with IDE and a parallel
port?
I can't find one.  I can't find anything with hard-drive connections.
I would like to have a second parallel port, and I would like to have

I am building up a PC using a case which has a built in temperature
display with two thermocouples.
Where is the best placement for making use of these two thermocouples?
I'm thinking one for ambient near the CPU fan intake.

Over the years I have opened up IBM Intellistations, HP Vectras, Dells,
etc.  One thing I have noticed is that they often have a rubber "hood"
traveling from the CPU fan to the back of the case.  This part absorbs
a lot of the vibration and redirects most of the noise the CPU fan ...

Can anyone share your experience which models of LCD monitor are best
for video ? I am looking for a 19" or larger monitor. Many thanks in

into the motherboard. Can you burn out the Power and HDD LED simply by
reversing positive and negative?

If a hard drive (Western Dig 60 or 80GB, 7200rpm, with WinXP or 2000) that
was in a previous machine (AMD proc) for a short while and then taken out,
