Suggestions for Core 2 Duo systems that use PCI - not PCI express?28 Apr 2009 04:58 GMT56
Right now I'm running a 2.4 gig P4 on a Soyo Dragon mobo. I could
upgrade to a socket 478 3.4gig processor and get about a 30% bump in
speed which wouldn't be bad, but it's my understanding going to a Core
2 Duo chip I could see a much bigger increase.

I just purchase a Silverstone Power Supply Unit (PSU) for my PC.
I am amaze with the PFC (Power Factor Correction) rating of over 0.96,
which, according to some indicators, means it's 96% efficient. (4%
wastage as heat).

front of the case and a large heat sink on the CPU.  I have spent the

Recommend a new printer?21 Apr 2009 12:19 GMT30
I want to buy a new printer that can copy as well as print.
Inkjet seems suitable.  I guess if I need to be able to copy, then an
allinone is in order.  Since I have a router, a network printer would
seem in order, but USB will do.
