| Blu-ray sensible minimum hardware requirement | 30 Oct 2007 10:18 GMT | 3 |
Background: I have a shuttle pc at home, few years old, I forget the speed but it supports hyperthreading so probably about 3.0GHz. It has an IDE interface and does not support SATA. Since I currently use this to record tv, it would be convenient to fit a blu-ray player into it. ...

| USB Speed | 28 Oct 2007 23:59 GMT | 8 |
500G usb hdd connected to a P3 with USB 1 only is only managing to run at 1,5M transfer rate, which is far too slow for the quantities of data in use. USB1 should run happily at 12M, the question is how do I get it to do so?
