Is there a way to permanently set a DVD-R and CD-R to not write in the read
only format, or do I have to set it every time?  Can it be set prior to
writing the disc?

here are the pix of that caseless HP server that I recased into a Compaq

Used to have a really good Logitech, very chunky and top buttons needed a
