HDD troubleshooting30 Jun 2006 19:51 GMT1
I have a Gateway 200 laptop that has had HDD issues over the last few
months.  In March, the original HDD crashed completely and had to be
replaced by me (not under warranty, of course).  After about one month,
the I got the BSOD with the new HDD in place.  After running GWScan, I

computer eating hard drives?30 Jun 2006 02:54 GMT3
My computer seems to be eating hard drives for breakfast.  I installed
my 2nd new drive in the past 2 months about 2 weeks ago and it won't
boot as of today.  That's 3 hard drives that have 'gone bad' in the
past two months.  Each time I run diagnostics on the drive and get

With what generation did hard drive size limit become a non-issue?29 Jun 2006 21:40 GMT15
Is there a definitive break point where one can be sure that hard drive size
limit (137 gig from what I gather) isn't a consideration?
Thanks.

I am having a problem with some peripheral device drivers on my Win XP 64
machine. Well, 64-bit device driver support simply sucks. In this
particular case I was able to find a driver for my Samsung SCX4100 printer
that works. The only problem is: the driver is from SCX4200. So, ...

I have an HP DeskJet 890C printer that still prints well, and even has

I like it, and don't want to replace it if I don't have to.  It uses the HP

I have (or had) a 40 gb hard disk. It was actually from another comp,

Windows 2000 on a 60 GB disk but I could not.  So I had to use ...
