I have a question about my Gigabyte GA-K8NSC-939 motherboard. I have

Is it possible to boot from a flash memory disk connected to a USB
port? It is assumed that the flash disk is formatted as a boot disk.

I have seen USB 3.5 drives for sale, but can't find any 5.25 drives
that are USB for sale.  I know it's old and out of use, but I need a
5.25" floppy drive that is portable.  Is there a kit or product anyone
can refer me to?  Thank you.

Some motherboards come with an external SATA connector. Can these be used to
boot from? I'd like to be able to swap boot drives between boots.

I have 2x400GB drives in a stripe set. One died so I lose all the data, i
know that, but what are the chances that
