......so I've removed the card and cable from the Dimension.
So far so good.
Popped the card in the Vostro; again, no problems.
But do you think I can get the business end of the cable to fit at the

Dell Inspiron Mini is now available in Spain with Ubuntu 8.04 preloaded.
It comes too with a bluetooth 2.0 chip that I suppose to be compatible
and functional on that OS.
Anyway I want to make sure I could (easily) use my bluetooth headphones

I am contemplating a purchase of a PDA such as the Dell 650-M (windows
mobile).
For e-mail, it is wireless enabled - so I can use it at home with my
wireless router and in hotels with wireless access - I presume.

I would like to see Dell put one of these in something after playing with it
for a while. It's really a pretty good performer for web browsing, office
suite work and stuff like that. It would be nice to see Dell come up with
something that uses the Atom CPU...maybe an ultra-small ...

Probably a simple answer to this, but I'm confused.
Optiplex 330 here with E4500/2.2 GHz cpu and 800 MHz "Memory
Bandwidth."  Uses NON-ECC DDR2 memory.  What speed memory do I need to
get the full benefit the system offers.  Some say 667 MHz, some say

I have been reloading mysoftware for the new PC. When I get to activsync
4.xx I can get the axim to load fine but I lose the abilty to use my
fax/modem. Somehow the axim and the modem are on the same COM3. if i leave

My wife was looking at a YouTube video last night and decided to switch to
full-screen. When she did the image displayed was a static black and white
screen, a diagonal line seperated the white portion from the black portion.
Switching back to normal mode and all was well. ...

buy a new computer for his 15 year old son. The boy does som online

I'm trying to let xp manage my dell 1390 card instead of the 1390's
wlan utility but after I reboot, I don't see the "wireless connection
tab" in the wireless network connection properties window.  
Prior to rebooting, I unchecked the radio button inside the 1390 wlan
