I just fired up my new Inspiron 530 and the fan is very noisy. It's much louder than my five-year old Dimension 8250 that it's replacing. Is this normal? This really sucks.

Some old posts elsewhere seem to indicate this card is backward compatible with the "g" standard. Is this true ?? I'm using an old dell "g" wireless router so if I should get this card, I just want to be sure it's backward compatible to the "g" standard.
