I wish to upgrade the memory in my dell inspiron 4150 and was wondering if I were to install 2x 1gb ram sodimm's would this system recognize this amount of memory and make full use of it? Dell states the maximum memory as 1 gb here:

When I select the C drive and click "Partition - Move/Resize", The graph window opens and includes a line "this partition crosses the 1024 cylinder boundary and may not be bootable". Is there a way around this problem - short of reformatting?

This is an ordinary e1405 core duo with 2GB RAM, Vista Home Premium, and nothing unusual. It's worked perfectly for months. Suddenly, its wireless network functionality has become a problem. When it comes out of standby it may or may not connect.

I'm looking at a Dell 670 with 10K rpm SCSI hd, no OS, on eBay. I have a Dell 330 WS with SCSI Drives and would like to know if I could just take the "C:" drive out of the 330 and put it in the 670 and have it work or must I go out and buy a new full version OS (No update).
