Adding sata to old Dell 825024 Jun 2007 23:22 GMT6
Anyone know if there is a PCI sata adapter that I could add to this system?
Ideally should have drivers (if needed) for WIN 2003 server. In a perfect
world would like to be able to boot from the sata drives - i.e. get rid of
the pata drives altogether!

I'm having problems with my Dimension 8400.  This has been a rock solid

primary TV recording server for HD, meaning it is on 24/7 and usually
driving the single SATA hard drive very hard.

Just bought an E520 system with 1 GB of Ram. I'm planning on ordering
