| New laptops - Core 2 Duo T5250 1.5Ghz? | 28 Jun 2007 11:38 GMT | 1 |
Am I missing something? I don't recall Dell offering a 1.5Ghz Core 2 Duo on the laptops until this new batch. An upgrade to a 1.8Ghz costs an extra $100, and to upgrade to one with

| E1405 laptop battery | 28 Jun 2007 04:50 GMT | 4 |
I recently read some laptop specs (forgot which model) that gave a rated number of recharges for the laptop battery (about 1000) so that got me wondering what is the best way to save the battery when mobility isn't needed... plugged in or unplugged ?

| The New Dell's | 27 Jun 2007 20:42 GMT | 12 |
Has anyone seen the look of these new Dell's that were released today (06/26/07)? If you haven't, don't! What the hell happened to Dell? Offset keyboards, ugly case colors, and even the cheap gray keyboard and media buttons. They took what was working quite nicely, and threw

| New Intel Array Manager for XPS 410/Dimension 9200 | 27 Jun 2007 18:46 GMT | 9 |
I just noticed a new version of the array manager on Dell's site. Dell hadn't released a version since the first, at least that I knew of, even though there have been multiple Intel releases. Not surprising. I am going to be installing it, as it fixes my biggest problem with the

| New Dell PC - are you excited? | 27 Jun 2007 14:46 GMT | 4 |
Just purchased a Dimension E520, and I'm not excited, it's just such a hassle to set it up and transfer everything from the old PC. I suspect lots of folks would buy computers way more often if this process was easier...

| Add HD to Dimension E520? | 27 Jun 2007 14:38 GMT | 6 |
Just purchased a Dimension E520 (Vista) to replace my Dimension 4600 (XP Home). I'd like to be able to run both from the E520 (some XP programs may not run under Vista, and it would alleviate the time pressure from having to transfer everything at once)

| Docking options for M1710...anyone have more info than the Dell site? | 27 Jun 2007 11:06 GMT | 2 |
I've found 2 official Dell options for my M1710. What am I getting with the docking station over the port replicator? I can't find examples of the "XPS™ Media Modules and media module battery charging" or "D/Dock's viewing expandability with the D/Dock flat panel and dual-

| Wish I'd known the difference between Inspiron and Latitude... | 27 Jun 2007 07:15 GMT | 6 |
Bought the e1405 two months ago, and I'm pleased with it. Today spent time with a new Latitude equivalent, which has greater functionality, better build quality, more connectivity. The Latitude cost $300 more apples-to-apples, but seems to be worth

Just recently, and I wish I knew the exact date so I could go back and pinpoint what might have happened, I've been having this weird issue with my monitor when the Optiplex GX270 comes out of Standby mode. I've got a Dell P992, 19 inch monitor, I use the official Dell drivers

| Dual boot Vista and XP? | 26 Jun 2007 21:06 GMT | 12 |
Kinda worried about some programs working under Vista, maybe a solution is to set up a dual-boot Vista/XP system? Does that create hassles on bootup, having to choose each time? Can it be set up to default to Vista? If everything's working ok, is it a problem to then
