I would like to change my drive letters,I have 2 optical drives,3 hard
drives 1 is a external,also I am dual booting with XP & vista on separate
drives,when I go in xp disk manager it shows a warning like " yours drives
may not work" or something like that.I don't want to screw ...

I have a Dimension E510. I purchased and am running 2 sticks of Kingston
Dual Channel Ram DDR2 533 (333 MHz) along side of the 2 sticks of 256 meg
Samsung PC2-4300 (266 MHz) that came with the PC. At the time I purchased
the Kingston ram I didn't know that this PC didnt support ...

I've been using IE7, just for the heck of it.  Most sites are ok, although a
few warn me that I must have IE5.5 or higher for them to work.
The only site that I have found that won't even display is pages at.....

I posted here a month or so ago about a replacement battery for my I
6000.  Dell's branded battery is $159...I have the 9-cell battery.
Someone posted back about Pacific Battery.  Their battery for the I 6000
runs $120, but I can't determine if this is the upgraded one or not.

Just received Dell Outlet XPS 410 2.4 Ghz / 2GB / (1)160 GB HD box
with Vista Basic installed. I took one look at Vista and reached for
my XP Pro Install CD. Problem is I never get to the XP Install menu.
CD boots but I get "Stop Error" blue screen before menu

Does Dell offer anti-glare screens for there laptops.  All I've been
seeing is the glossy which I would think would be hard on the eyes
after awhile.

Looking at new desktops, looks like there's no longer an option for

I declined the EULA on Mcafee and uninstalled it, but zone alarm still
catches it trying to reach the internet, on a new I9400 with XP Home,
possibly to inform Mcafee that I uninstalled it, who knows.
Maybe it's like the Norton deal, where only the clean-it-out script

Here's a basic question. I have an Inspiron 2200 laptop.
I usually keep the AC Adapter (is that what it's called?) plugged in. So the
green light on the adapter unit is always on.
I then connect the laptop when it needs charging (or just run it off the
