Is there a secret to finding a good but low cost laptop?  Most seem
more expensive than regular PC's.
   I want one to hook up to my wireless network here at home, out in the

My Dell Latitude 3500 has broken hinges on the lid/screen. I'd like to

I've got two 2400 DIM's. One a P4-2.4 gig   purchased mid year 04,  and
a Celeron 2.4g purchased in May 05 and, I have two questions:
A>   Now that the DUO CORE is about to be released, any thoughts about
the P-4 prices dropping  ?  I'd like to put a P4 with a higher Gig  in

I am getting a laptop skin and wondered if I can remove the Dell badge

I got a Dell Inspiron 5150 2 years ago and it will not run on AC
power. But it will run On battery power. It isn't the AC adapter, got
another one.

I am looking to upgrade the Video Card on my Dimension 8200. It came
with an NVIDIA GeForce2 MX 400 with 32mgs of Ram.  The only reason I
want to change cards at all is I want to hook up two Monitors and
possibly watch TV on it.

I'm new to using SATA drives and have a DMA question.  I have the original
Win XP Home OS install and OEM 160GB WD HD as my primary SATA0 drive and
added a 320GB Seagate 3.0GBs NCQ HD as the secondary drive on SATA1.
I burn a lot of DVD's and Nero Info tool reports that DMA is ON ...

Dimension 8400 currently running XP Pro.
Tried to install Vista RC1 to my second SATA hard drive.  Got to the
screen where you select the drive to install Vista.  Selected the drive
and formatted it.  When I try to click Next to install Vista it says
