Why do both my systems hibernate when left at the login / logon screen without interaction? I've posted this question to a windows group before and no one seemed to have ever seen such a thing. Does this happen to anyone else in Dell land?

We get shipments of dells in all the time. I've noticed that the 620's are running pretty hot when just sitting on a desk. Flip them over and there is a visible fan and most of the time it doesn't spin. I think Dell needs to update the bios and turn on the fan more often

Hello have just purchased a Dell inspirion 6400 had a problem with computer and wiped system. Reinstalled windows and all other drivers then installed aduio driver and wireless driver but neither will work. Have downloaded drivers provied on dell website but still no result.

I was trying to upgrade a 4500 Pent 4 2 GHZ from 128 MB to 512. Got a DDR 512 MB 2100, put it in and turned on the computer. It beeped a few times, the monitor "on" LED blinked, but nothing happened. I put the old 128 module back in and it worke fine.

I have an older PowerEdge server with a "PowerEdge Expandable RAID 1.43." The RAID card started a piercing scream recently and I saw that one of six drive caddies had a red light. Upon booting the server, the RAID card reports "1 Logical Drive Degraded."
