We currently have a couple of Dell C610's - 1.2Ghz models.
with upgraded 60GB disk + 512MB memory + mini-pci WiFi..
Also, have extra batteries, floppy, CR-RW, DVD, etc for swapping into
modular bay.

I've been looking at 2 of the Powervault DLT systems, the 110T SDLT and
the PV110T LTO-2L
What I find strange is the PV110T seems to have a greater capaicty
(200/400 compared to 160/320), but for less $$$, can someone explain to

I use AVG FREE av s-ware.
I generally like it. It seems easy to use and update.
However, lately (last 24 hours), it keeps popping up about every 45 minutes

I just bought a used Optiplex GX110.
The machine came with no documentation. Being new to Dell computers, I'd
like some pointers. First, can I download the manual for the machine
from Dell's site? Where on the site can I find the manual and other

A few weeks back my X50 with A05 ROM loaded, stopped seeing the CF memory
card (a Lexar 128BM).  The CF does work, I can use a card reader and see the
data on it.  I have an old Casio PPC and the CF card does work with it.
Today just for giggles and grins I decided to plug the CF ...

I have an I8600 and am looking to upgrade the memory. I have looked at
Crucial (www.crucial.com) and it states that I can take up to 1GB per stick
and that the laptop uses DDR333. My question it whether DDR memory is
backward compatble. ie. can I use DDR400 in this laptop because ...
