My Dell came preloaded with Dell Jukebox. Before I install Nero 6, can

I have a one year old Dimension 8400 with a NEC burner that never had
any problems reading or burning (DVD+R) discs. Recently I bought some
golf instructional tapes converted to DVD format. The golf DVDs caused
my DVD reader to freeze up completely and I had to shut off manually.

My latitude (PIII-650) doesn't show the picture half the time.  This is from
startup so no screen shows at all, even for external monitor.  Anyone have
similiar problem?
