strange display behaviour on my Inspiron 8000 with XPsp223 Aug 2005 22:40 GMT6
My Inspiron 8K is a great laptop. I love its 1600x1200 display. But my

At random intervals, especially when opening UltraEdit, display gets
corrupted in various ways. The problem disappear as soon as I close the

My son has sent me a Dell Inspiron 8000 bought in Australia about 4
years ago. There is nothing with it.
I only get a small screen and I can't change it from control panel.
It's VGA std. I'd like the drivers for NIC, Video, and anything else.

using external widescreen laptop with Dell C600 laptop23 Aug 2005 10:56 GMT4
I have an old Latitude C600 laptop, which I have just connected to a
1280x768 widescreen LCD-TV.
The problem is that the ATI drivers do not seem to support this resolution,
so the 1024x768 picture is distorted when I output the signal to the LCD TV.

It's an odd question, but I noticed that the motherboard actually has solder
spots for an AGP slot and the case has the proper spot for the card to come
out.

Dell Dimension 2400/3000 and bootable USB? Please help.22 Aug 2005 17:36 GMT2
I bought a used Dimension 2400 and 3000 last year for home use. Recently, I
read about bootable USB and was wondering how well Dell Dimension 2400 and
3000 PCs are at it? At work, the newer Dell PCs seem to have no problem. In
fact, I allowed the CD drive to be bootable with USB ...
Dell A920 Printer USB Not Recognized22 Aug 2005 14:12 GMT1
My Dell A920 printer is not working on my Dell Dimension 2400. When I plug
the USB cable into the system, the XP OS is saying "USB not Recognized".
When I download the latest ENG driver from Dell, the driver setup does not
recognize a printer. However, I know the USB cable and ...

Thinking it should give the best quality, I connected the 2005FPW to the
D-Port using the DVI cable, since the monitor's native resolution is
