I'm a newbie here and not at all a hardware buff. My question is a very
simple one. How do I use my 1905FP flat screen in portrait mode? I
start up Word (for example) but if I rotate the screen, the document
doesn't realign itself. And typing with my head held at a right angle

Dell versus Asus?31 Jul 2005 00:31 GMT28
Here's something to ponder:
I've been considering an XPS Gen 5.
Now I've found a reliable box builder offering up a computer with
very similar features and capabilities, but built on an Asus P5WD2

My new Dell 9100 has two 160GB hard drives, but WIndows sees only one

Supervisor Password vs BIOS Password30 Jul 2005 02:30 GMT5
I received my Dell XPS Gen 4, WinXPpro SP2, Media Center 2005 Edition

Somewhere along the way, a Supervisor password was generated, and I
have it written down.

Does anyone know if the Kingwin KF-23-IPF or any of the other ball
bearing fan models of mobile racks will fit a standard Dell Dimension
case. I have two 5 inch bays open, but I have not measured them and I
read a complaint by someone of another brand not fitting.
How to make my 8200 multi-headed29 Jul 2005 17:21 GMT8
I have a Dimension 8200 with an NVIDIA GeForce video card in it driving a
large CRT.
I have several extra Monitors (including another decent-sized Dell CRT) and
would love to make a 2- (or 3- ?) headed monster.  What's my best bet?
Dell Pentium D Performance Question29 Jul 2005 06:01 GMT13
I'm in dispute with Dell. They offered, and I ordered, a 9100
Pentium-D 3.0ghz system with hyperthreading (HT). The shipped system
does not have hyperthreading, which I need to run multiple copies of a
CPU-intensive application.
