Dell 17" crt will no longer turn on. As soon as I push the on button it makes the standard turn on noise but immediately shuts itself off. I tried holding the button in to no avail. Is this repairable or is it now a paperweight? Also in case I have to replace it what are the top ...

Had a power outage. I have things set up to shut down peacefully on power loss, but not to re-start when power is returned. I do not see any settings in the BIOS to tell the system to boot automatically when power comes back up. Anybody know if it is possible to

I get the feeling that the battery light on my Latitude C640 is not just for indicating that the battery is recharging. It blinks quite frequently even when the battery is charged and the laptop is plugged in. Does anyone know what this blinking light means?
