I have a problem with my modem. When I try to dial out I get NO DIALTONE but I know the line is good because ringing is detected by the modem, I get the RING message. If I listen to the line on an extension while I dial, I can hear a click as the modem tries to pick up the line. ...

I'm behind when it comes to the newer hard drives... If I bought another Dell with a SATA HD or the 120 serial HD could I just put in the HD from another PC, "80 gig 7200 rpm" without a problem? I notices that a cable was mentioned in some of the descriptions on the Dell

Could use some advice. This morning booted up and got message that file "c:\windows\system32\refe744f.dll" was infected with download.trojan. I quarantined that file with Norton Anti-Virus. Norton also found three other files infected (also in \system32\),

I have a Dell Dimension 2350 running XP. It is approx 18 months old. On power up the PC appears to start correctly,the HDD light flickers etc and the light on the LCD monitor turns green, as though there is a video signal, but there is no display.
