I have a Compaq Presario C769US Notebook PC with a built-in webcam.
When I got my laptop about a year ago, I tried out the webcam, whic
worked perfectly fine at the time.  However, I recently tried to use i
again, but the program I used said there was no video device detected.

After encountering many BSOD (and trying all possible remedies - new HD
checking RAM etc etc. I re installed Win XP Pro SP2.
During install I had to use the F7 bypass - I don't recall having to do
that before.

I'm having quite a time trying to network my new netbook to my
desktop.  I run Network setup on both machines but always come up with
a limited connectivity error.  I'm missing a setting somewhere along
the way because I even had the desktop networked with a Mac at one
