The pins have pulled out of the motherboard, where the springs were holding
the northbridge heatsink down... Is there any repair possible, or what
motherboard might be a decent replacement?
I have used Biostar motherboards as drop in replacements in Emachines.

I have a Compaq Presario 5000, and I am trying to find the wiring
diagrams for the motherboard that came with the system when it was
purchased. Somewhere during the shuffle of things the wires were pulled
off of the motherboard and now I need to reconnect them in order to turn

I have an HP Presario v6000tx running under XP SP2.
Laptop's Part Number on Invoice and on Bottom is GQ362AV.
BIOS states Presario V6000 (GB115AV).
GB115A is the P/N of the installed Intel Graphic Accelerator.

last week I bought a second-hand Compaq Proliant ML350 server. There
are 2 SCSI 9 GB drives in it, but they are not connected (I was told),
and there's also a 80 GB IDE drive, as well as a SCSI tape unit and a
CD-ROM drive.

I work for a non profit association and we were given two Compaq PC's by a
company: one PIII 450MHz Deskpro, and one PIII 866MHz Deskpro EN (with no
documentation nor software on floppy/CD ROM). I have no idea of what is
installed on their disks.

I pulled my laptop apart to try to fix a minor display problem. Now
when I go to turn it on, I get the power light on the front for about
2 seconds, then nothing. What could I have done while having the unit

I have a compaq presario 7360, when I turn it on, it goes to the compaq
screen and does nothing else. I've tried to reboot, I tried to use
recovery disk, and I have even changed the battery out.
