The boot volume on a DL585 server with a SmartArray 5Si adapter is being
created with a 32 sector offset. This is seen under Windows 2003 64-bit
using Symantec Storage Foundation for Windows Basic 5.0. Every other
device created under Windows has a 63 sector offset. ...

I have a Compaq nx6115 laptop. When I press the power button, the fan
whirs for about a second, and the hard drive access light comes on.
Then it cuts out (fan shuts down) and then this is repeated about
fifteen times. Eventually it stops doing this and the fan stays on,

DOS software does not run properly.
WHen you hit Shirt-Alt-Enter, Windows should take you to a full screen
DOS mode.

I'm trying to use one of these.....
It has the original SCSI drive installed. (About 4 GB)
When I plug in an IDE drive to the "primary" IDE connector it is
recognized. But the machine insists on trying to boot from it.

I am trying to upgrade a HP pavillion a400y. Spec says it can take
PC2700 up to 2GB with max of 1GB per slot. Right now i have 256MB
installed PC2700 DDR. When i look in the bios it says
installed memory 256MB/PC2100,

I have never saw this before. I have had an old, outdated, yet
perfectly good working c500 compaq. I don't remember the model, but
lately, something happened while my niece was using it. she is a
young little tot, and only goes on the computer to use the paint

bought a PCI video board to extend the life of 7594. it has on board video
now. is there a jumper for disabling the builtin video like there is for
audio? if so where is it. or is it done thru the bios?
any help is appreciated.

tryed to find a manual or some information regarding the "LED-Connectors" on
