and wakes up after it then nothing goes. I have to reboot the laptop

I received an Compaq Proliant an I want upgrade it. My question was
this one: is it possible to put a new motherboard in the compaq and
by witch vendor i can find such motherboard?? It must be not
neccesairly a Compaq motherboard, asus or tyan is quite good also.(

How can you access the BIOS on an old Compaq Deskpro?   Already tried the
usual stuff... DEL after POST, F4, F5, F8, F10... Nothing.

yeah, looking at my current specs:
Board: Compaq 0608h
Bus Clock: 66 megahertz
BIOS: Compaq 686C2 09/08/1999

i want to upgrade the processor (500mhz celeron) in my presario 5834.
the motherboard is a Compaq 0608h. how do i know what it can support? i
only want to add a faster celeron. somewhere around the 1.5 Ghz range.
can i do it?

A friend inherited a Compaq Presario 4409CL with dead power supply.
It looks like a standard ATX power supply. Inside the case we found
that the board is marked with Delta Electronics DPS-250KP-2B
Neither of us is a "power supply expert" so would appreciate any help.

I would like to ask, how can I have access to bios setup of my pc in
order to set a password? I tried already various combinations of keys
(Del, F12) but nothing happened (the bios setup did not appeared.
I'm doing something wrong?

I did the complete FORMAT C:\ and installed WIN98SE
Unfortunately I can nolonger change the resolution of the LCD screen fom
640x480 and 16 colors to the higher values
