I am trying to access the setup menu with no luck. I am using the F10
key but seems that I see the setup showing up in the bottom right
corner then it just boots up regularly not accessing the BIOS.
any suggestions?

Would anyone know if the Compaq Armada 7400 notebook can handle 2 X 256
MB Ram sticks? Having trouble getting it to recognise this configuration.

The  Presario m2007us is on sale by me.  Looking to buy a laptop for my
college bound child.   Any thoughts on this model with the following specs?
It does not say it has a wirless card but is that not a given since it has
the Centrino Technology?

Had to reinstall WinMe on my Presario 1200  but now the CD doesn't
show in devices??
I have tried all the possible Hard Disk Drivers, what do I need??

   Anyone got the skinny on Ipaqs.  I admit I've pretty much ignored them.
however a friend has a deal for several at $45.00 a piece and wants to hook
his family in the Philippines up with them.  Worth the trouble or just a
waste of time?

I was given three Compaq 36G hard drives by someone. They're 7200 RPM,
Ultra Wide SCSI, model AA03631AC6. That plus a 9G Wide Ultra SCSI3, part
number 313706-B21, model MAB3091SC.
All four seem to not want to be formatted properly or have Windows install

cannot expand drives when they run under Windows 2000.    What is
the observed behavior for such cases?   I tried to do it with a

I have a Presario 6000 (6rpxe1) with a 220 watt psu. The fan is gone on my
ti4200 graphics card and was considering upgrading it. I'd like to go with a
second tier type card (6800 or x700) but have been told I'll need a better
psu.

I was given a presario to use and I want to see if I can get XP on there
so I can use it as my everyday computer. When I try to use "quick"
restore, it gives me error xxx.xx and says I need to contact compaq
(which i WON'T do). The other option is to do a manual reinstall. I've
