Well I've had a look at the FAQ tried the BIOS files available at compaq but
still have no luck in accessing the BIOS. when i use the software to check
the computer settings I get a fault report that says that it is not possible
on this type of machine. ANYONE ANY IDEA'S WHAT I CAN ...

I've got a "C series 810C" Handheld and it's not working well.
When i turn it on it displays the wallpaper for 2 seconds and then the image
dissapears, and the screen just goes white.

I'm doing a Win2K installation and am trying to install without ACPI,
but when I press F5 and select "Standard PC", Win2K install gives
an error message that a keyboard cannot be found.

I'm trying to configure a DeskPro 6000 (Pentium Pro 200) but can't
seem to get it to create the Diagnostic Partition.
I boot with the Setup disks (1 & 2) and it sees the hard drive fine.
I do a Save and Exit and then boot with the Diagnostic disk to Create

My compaq did not come with an s-video cable.... and I have now bought
two neither of which worked.
I would have assumes that an s-video cable plugged into the Evo with a
scart on the other end for my television should show up on the AV

Just installed a 256MB chip to augment the 64MB I already have.  But
my computer now says I have 192MB instead of the 320 I was expecting.
Any insights on this would be greatly appreciated.

I have a DeskPro EX 866 Desktop. I am going to upgrade the mobo and many
of the components. Will a non-compaq mobo fit in the case or will that
too have to go in the skip?
