I bought one and intentionally deleted all the partitions. I was going to
restore it to factory defaults but the restore disk doesn't format and

Ever since i got this Acer Aspire 5611, almost two years back now, the
system time is usually off. When shut down, clock seems to shut down too.
Also, when it is very busy, clock turns sluggish.
Is this a known problem, or is my laptop bloody kaputt bloody ?

My travelmate 8004LMi is dead. Nothing special done. The power comes on
the motherboard but nothing at all lights or makes noise.
