I want to remove this gelded bios (Phoenix-Award workstation bios) Acer gives you with their PCs. I just put in some new memory and now the Bios goes into Safemode. I would like to be able to adjust the memory voltage settings so I can upgrade my memory. Here is my system:

I have Aspire 5315 and I really happy with. But Vista has to go. Among the too many annoyances to list, they don't even support help files anymore. It sends you to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/917607 that explains you how to install but it still doesn`t work. My best

Is it ok to run the thing plugged on AC without the battery being in it? I got it for Christmas and it will stay on my desk 99.9% of the time.

I have a problem. I bought new notebook with preinstall Ubuntu. Now I want delete it and install WinXP Prof. but XP don't "see" hard disk. I can do nothing with partition table. Is anybody know how do this ? Regards
