Acer Travelmate 8100 with bios ver. 3F05
Is it possible to boot up directly from an external USB drive. I am looking
to use an external drive as a full image backup in case of disk failure.
I am finding it a bit scary ( as Acer sugests) using the D: drive for that

Had a HP ZE5300 laptop that someone ended up stepping on the laptop
when it was closed and the screen ended up spider webbing. After this
happened there was no picture or anything and so I figured i would
replace the screen and i did so and the screen lights up but there is

I just bought a second hand Aspire 5680 with Windows XP, but the
recovery partition has been erased and I don't have any recovery CD or
DVD. I'm looking for a copy of a french version. Would someone be able
to share it with me ?
