I need help..
I upgraded my bios with the program found on the acer's site.
Windows procedure, the notebook does not have a floppy drive to do this
operation under dos boot.

I'm not the most computer savvy person. But I was wondering how you
turn on or activate the Bluetooth button on my Acer Aspire 9500
series.  I've heard it may not have it because it says "no
Bluetooth device" when pushed and that the button is just on

Just bought an Acer Aspire E380 (I think) and I already need to upgrade
the power supply to install a graphics card. I am wondering if anyone
knows how well Acer cases take other types of upgrades.

I have an Acer 5570, which came with Vista, and I'm trying to get XP
running as well.
I have the XP key i need, but I do not have all the acer drivers for
XP (specifically USB2)

I have formatted the hdd of my 3630WLMi and reinstalled XP.
Now i have lost the acer keyboard driver so windows installs the 101 key
driver.
The problem is that the Fn-F5 key ( and all Fn keys) can't be used anymore.

All the visible indications would lead me to ask "How do I get the
Bluetooth to work?". But after doing a search of this newsgroup I now
see that I really need to ask."Does my notebook contain bluetooth
hardware?"

Hi there, i've got a problem with my ASPIRE 1640 under XP home : when i wake
up my laptop after an "hibernation", i loose the sounds; it seems not to
recognize the realtek audio soundcard anymore;
the only way i found to recover it is to restart totally my computer. after

My Aspire notebook has a 5 in 1 card reader which is described as
reading several types of "Memory Stick" and other cards. My phone has
a "Memory Stick Duo" card which has a compatible symbol (flying
saucer?) on it.

If anyone has access to the service manuals for any of the below
models (Acer Aspire 1710, 1700, 1350), I would appreciate if you would
e-mail them to me.

I have a new Aspire 5633WLMi which I believe is an Aspire 5630 for
some purposes. It arrived with Vista installed but the wireless
adaptor wouldn't connect to my router, so I went back to XP and now
that works.

Am waiting for my free upgrade disk for vista. Wondered if anyone has done a upgrade any info,tips etc.

i would like to know if anyone have any advice on how to install a Windows
XP on a Aspire 9813?
it currently has Windows Vista, and when i try to boot from the Windows XP
Pro SP2 install media, i am told, that the windows installer was unable to
