Did your machine come with the Acer eFramework?  You might try using
their website to download if not and use the ePM.  It's better than
nothing.  Is it a pentium or AMD and is the motherboard Acer, Intel?
At that speed, I can't believe you wouldn't have built in SpeedStep

I've got a friend who's having some troubles with his laptop. The
laptop is 13 months old, has extended warranty (which he forgot to

Just got me a new 3651. Nice computer-- except for a few issues right out of
the box:
1.Boot time is long--3+ minutes, sometimes 4 (even with most everything
disabled using msconfig). Is yours pokey too? How to fix?

the ALT -F10 combination because I couldn't boot from the recovery

machine has come with no restore facility and has been back to the shop

A person i know has a travelmate laptop, about 5 or 6 years old. The
accu is damaged that meas it is not possible to load it. but the laptop

Is there an easy way to remove the stickers, i.e.: ATI, XP,
AMD and the big ACER, from the area below the keyboard? I hate to scratch up
the surface.

just got an acer 1654wlmi and am not impressed with the battery supply. i
have recharged it four times now so it should be operating at optimum
capacity but it only lasts for about 80 mins. the acer spec says 3.5 hours?.
i have an acer 1350 which lasts just as long as the 1654 ...

Hi, my brother in law accidentally installed the first time the wrong
language for Windows XP Home edition on his Acer Aspire 1640Z laptop,
french instead of dutch. He did finish the complete installation
process, in french... how can he reinstall in the dutch language?

Would like to change the CMOS battery for Travelmate 800, but can't find it.
Acer support doesn't seem to know if there is one. Anyone help?
