Just bought  an Acer 2700 series travel mate, installed  extra 500meg ram
but computer only see,s it as 250.
thought it was ram and had it changed, same again.

I have some problems with my Acer Travelmate 630,
and I am trying to boot from some "Boot Cds" to fix it.
For example  "Ultimate boot CD" = ubcd.sourceforge.net.
The problem is that some of the ones I've made doesn't work.

My Acer 521iT has been a happy chappy for some years.
A while back our eX-cat pissed on the keyboard.

Does anyone know how to reset the BIOS password on an Acer Aspire 1200?
