I've just tried to install a Netgear WG311 wireless PCI card into an old
AcerPower 8000 and it wouldn't boot.
Do you think it might need a BIOS upgrade?

I'm looking for full service manuals / guides for the below Acer
notebooks / series. Any assistance in finding them would be greatly
appreciated.

would a a 340T accept more than 256 MB in total or,
in other words, could it handle 256 MB SO DIMMs?

Hi, my laptop could not display properly even at POST..Bios .. and windows
(appeared as random characters, lines). Occasionally, the it will display
properly... but not for long.

motherboard via three pins. I accidently hooked the power cord whil
walking across the living room, broke it in 3 or 4 pieces and plucke
it from the motherboard. Non repairable. Thats the only damage don

I have access to the Acer service manuals. So if anyone would like a manual
for a specific model just say so :-)

Anyone who knows if there's a general reset button on the Acer Ferrari
3400LXi? Mine went dead after less tahn 3 weeks... :-(
It says nada at bootup, nothing shows on the screen, just the fan, CD
and disk spins for a while...
