Am new to this group.
Can anyone help me understand the Acer Aspire 1362 S-Video port please.
I would like to be able to plug the laptop into the TV via the s-video port
and watch DCD's. My TV does not have an s-video port so I have tried to
replacing the ''little metal arm'' holding the LCD on TM800LCI16 Feb 2005 19:51 GMT17
Yep.. That night I got a bit rough while closing the LCD lid on my
travelmate 800LCI(15").
Adivice: be gentle with it because I didnt even close it that hard (I
closed a few heinekens as well, though..)

My Acer 800 lci laptop suddenly started showing a very garbled
display on bootup so that nothing on the screen can be read correctly.
All of the characters and graphics on  the screen were "pixelated" (if
that is even a word ) and cannot be recognized at all. Even in Windows

Attempting to increase the resolution on my acer notebook from 1280 x 800
(its a 15.4" TFT)
However, whenever go for a higher resolution screen becomes "virtual" ie.
spreads beyond the screen edges and scrolls.
